Our Flying Instructors based at Fife Airport

Fife airport has, again, seen some movement in flying instructors over the last couple of months.

Tim Humphrey has recently been appointed Chief Flying Instructor at Fife Airport.    He completed his Flying Instructor course in 2007 and is currently enjoying the varied training programme with Tayside Aviation. 

Martin West,  Tayside Aviation's youngest instructor, who joined the company on his 20th birthday in December 2008.     Martin has completed all his training with Tayside Aviation from PPL to FI.

William Temple and Mark Pendlebury are the newest instructors to be recruited to Fife Airport.     Both completed their PPL training with Tayside Aviation and have returned to their routes to train the next generation of pilots.

Tayside Aviation have also recently recruited a bank of part-time instructors who will assist the full-time instructors to deliver the flying training.    

Tayside Aviation, like every flying training organisation, is experiencing a shortage of instructors with the following having left the Company recently:-

Simon Moore left to join Globespan

Brian Gayle left to join Scot-Airways

Stewart Webb left to join City Star then Loganair

Sergio Toribio Villamediana and Gorm Mothe-Lethe left to join Ryanair   

Claes Langfeldt left to join BMI regional

Pedro Ruisanchez left to return to his native Spain to continue training students

Adrian Baxendale left to join Eastern Airways
