Female Pilots
There is a continual increase in the number of females that are commencing their flying courses.
Tayside Aviation has, as part of our instructor base, a number of female part-time pilots, who are full-time airline pilots and they delight in returning to teach students where they trained.
What it means to fly
Flying brings a different & fresh perspective. You see the world from a distance. It's beautiful - especially around sunset. Flying heightens your sense of awareness, and at the same time clears your mind from those monkey-chattering thoughts. It requires concentration, and when you're in the air, you are so focussed that everything quiets and you feel absolutely free.

Our excellent instructors will teach you how to spot any danger signs so you'll know how to correct them. By being observant and alert you will detect any potential problems early and correct them. Flying is a real challenge, one that gets the adrenalin going and really forces you to better yourself. There's always more to learn and no conditions are ever the same. It's truly wonderful.
