National Pilots Licence (NPPL)
The UK NPPL was introduced in August 2002. This course follows the same syllabus as the PPL but there is less instrument-based training and is achieved with a minimum of 32 hours.
As a result the UK NPPL is only recognised in UK and can only be used in UK for pleasure flying and in daylight. This course is suited to students who do not wish to make flying a career.
