Tayside Aviation have acquired 5 low wing, fully aerobatic, 2-seater Grob 115D. The Grob is a recognised training aircraft and is currently used by the RAF and Royal Navy for training future pilots.
We are delighted to have purchased these aircraft as they will provide continuity of training for the 'cadets', many of whom will have used the Grob during their initial air experience flying with the ATC.
The Grob is classed as a 'stick and bubble' and is therefore popular with the MOD. This name derives from the 'stick' which is used to direct and control the aircraft and the 'bubble' which is the canopy. Available for hire at competitive prices.
